Clerkenwell is home to more creative businesses and architects per square mile than anywhere else. It’s the perfect area to bring architects, designers and manufacturers together for a design festival.
This year marks the first time that Yewdale will be part of Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW). We are very excited for the event because there will be so many opportunities to promote our blinds, medical curtains, hospital cubicle tracks and load release accessories.
Pizza recharge
To celebrate Yewdale’s debut, we’re organising a pizza recharge period from 12 pm till 2 pm every day during Clerkenwell Design Week! We’ll be setting up outdoor seating and a pizza marquee in our courtyard, providing a space to relax (hopefully, in the sunshine). This will provide attendees with a welcome respite from the jam-packed nature of the event.

The Yewdale showroom
We recently invested in refurbishing an old three-storey café based in Sutton Lane, Clerkenwell.
Our purpose-built showroom is the only one in the Clerkenwell area with commercial blinds, hospital curtains and cubicle tracks, anti-ligature products and fabrics on display.

Free seminar
Our Specifications Consultant will be running one of our CPD seminars at the showroom from 1 pm till 2:30 pm each day. During the seminar, Graham will explore the relationship between shading and occupant wellbeing, highlighting key specifying tips and considerations.
This seminar will be very interesting for architects and other professionals who specify for commercial buildings, healthcare facilities and public spaces.
