    Permanent Housekeeper

    We’re looking for a housekeeper to take on the day-to-day cleaning tasks at Yewdale, in the offices, factory and warehouse, across three separate units, to maintain a safe, clean and tidy environment for the benefit of all staff and visitors at Yewdale. 

    The successful candidate will be required to work between 6-8 hours per day, and we can offer flexibility for these hours to be worked between 2:15pm – 11:15pm, Monday to Friday.

    It is essential that you have a meticulous approach to cleanliness and hygiene, in order to contribute towards ensuring Yewdale remains COVID-19 secure. Your working practices must adhere with our H&S policies and practices.

    A minimum of 12 months cleaning experience is essential, preferably in a factory environment.

    Production Operative - Night Shift (9.30pm - 6.00am)

    Are you a hands-on, motivated, and hardworking individual? Are you keen on developing your manual skills?

    Our in-house factory is the heartbeat of Yewdale, and our production teams are key to our success - providing our customers with the high-quality products we are renowned for.

    We currently have a position available within our 9.30 pm - 6.00 am shift, Monday - Friday with an annual salary of £22,200 (£10.67 per hour).

    We have three key areas in our production factory, each with its own departments. Each area needs to rely on another to progress an order from the office to production, through to delivery - teamwork and a positive work ethic is essential to thriving in this role.

    Depending on the needs of the company as it grows, you will be working in any one of our 14 departments within goods-in and picking, assembly, packing and dispatch - each requiring some manual handling and lifting. 

    We offer opportunities for multi-skilled training throughout the departments, you may be cutting steel, assembling a roller blind, quality testing or packing for delivery, the possibilities are endless.  After full training, you will be required to operate machineries such as cherry pickers, pillar drills, saws and more.

    If you can work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative, work to a deadline, and have strong communication skills, then you’re an ideal candidate for us. Under the guidance of our Senior Operatives, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills – and have fun doing it!

    Copywriter and Social Media Coordinator

    The applicant:

    • The ideal candidate will be full of ideas that will help maintain and develop the strong relationships built with our existing market, whilst growing a new customer base through exciting and creative offline and online content. You must be able to research, write and help implement engaging content across a variety of channels which could include editorials, brochures, adverts, newsletters, website articles, webinars, videos etc. 
    • You must have excellent written English and be a confident writer with at least 2 years’ experience working with a B2B brand, together with a proactive, positive, and enthusiastic approach to your work.
    • Working within a small in-house marketing team, every day is different, so you’ll need to be a team player with a flexible approach.
    • You’ll fit in well if you’re organised, and naturally a forward planner and someone who’s confident with putting forward marketing recommendations in team discussions.  A solid understanding of social media platforms and SEO would be highly beneficial.

    Freelance Videographer and Photographer

    Yewdale is the leading interior shading and privacy manufacturer for commercial and public environments.  We’re looking for a creative freelance videographer and photographer who can help build the look and feel of our brand through creative, engaging, innovative photography and videos.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and capturing quality video footage and photography to support the marketing team in conveying key messaging to prospective and existing customers through offline and online content.

    You must be able to bring new ideas to the team for compelling video and photography that will enhance our brand and be highly proficient in the art of storytelling, video-making, editing and production.   As well as video, we require you to have a strong focus on product photography and being able to create images that best represent our products.

    You must have a minimum of 4 year’s professional experience and have your own camera equipment and editing software such as Premier Pro and After Effects.  There is access to an on-site white room for product photography. Most possess a positive, enthusiastic, and upbeat attitude and the experience of working in a manufacturing industry would be advantageous.

    You’ll need your own transport, as shoots could take place in our factory in Wickford, Essex, at our Clerkenwell, London showroom or at other locations, such as exhibitions, customer premises, case study sites.

    • Responsible for product photography for all marketing - offline and online.
    • Responsible for location and people photography for case studies, newsletters, marketing literature etc.
    • Able to retouch/enhance photography and video where needed.
    • Actively participate in a weekly marketing team meeting.
    • To work with colleagues across the company as and when required for video and photography requirements.
    • To co-ordinate all activities and materials needed to support the photography or video shoot.
    • To secure and archive permissions for use of an image of an individual/s.
