    Marketing Content Specialist

    Are you positive, self-driven and passionate about writing? Do you have a keen attention to detail and looking for a challenging role where you can taking charge of content for a manufacturer in the B2B marketplace?    

    Yewdale is growing and we’re looking for a skilled Content Marketing Specialist who will be able to create influential content that positions us as the ‘go to provider’ in the market place.

    The ideal candidate will be full of ideas that will help maintain and develop the strong relationships built with our existing market, whilst growing a new customer base through exciting and creative offline and online content.   You must be able to research, create and implement engaging content across a variety of channels which could include editorials, brochures, adverts, newsletters, website articles, webinars, videos etc. 

    You must have excellent written English and be a confident writer with at least 2 years’ experience working with a B2B brand, together with a proactive, positive and enthusiastic approach to your work.

    Working within a small in-house marketing team, every day is different so you’ll need to be a team player with a flexible approach.

    You’ll fit in well if you’re organised, and naturally a forward planner and someone who’s confident with putting forward marketing recommendations in team discussions.  A solid understanding of social media platforms and SEO would be highly beneficial.

      Create, maintain and implement a content calendar  

      Research and generate ideas for exciting, creative content for existing and new markets.

    Create, repurpose and implement content for online and offline projects such as website product pages, campaign pages, webinars, news, how to guides, brochures, editorials, adverts, case studies, internal and external newsletters etc.

    Manage specific content projects from brief to delivery - brainstorming ideas, communicating throughout, working with colleagues, keeping to deadlines etc

    Manage the company’s social media channels.

    Optimise online content for SEO.

    Conduct regular competitor analysis and monitor their strengths and weaknesses to inform content.

    Evaluate and report on content and online activity using google analytics and SEM rush tools, optimising where appropriate.

    Ensure that all content is of a high quality taking into account the brand ethos, tone and meets branding guidelines.

    Attend team marketing meetings - have an active role in generating ideas, assisting with marketing activity etc

    Finance Manager

    Can you proactively manage £27m financials for a fast, financially sound, growing manufacturer with big plans for the next 3 years? Are you a qualified accountant with people experience who would relish the opportunity to manage a friendly finance team?  Can you manage deadlines and stay calm under pressure?  If yes, then we want to hear from you.

    Supporting the Managing Director, Yewdale is seeking a Finance Manager who would like to play a key role in the strategic growth plan taking it to 27m by 2023, via organic and acquisitional growth for the long-term financial security of our business.  You will need to be able to uphold and maintain the current percentage levels of gross and net profit.

    The ideal candidate will need to collaborate with an accredited body for the end of year accounts, the senior management team as well as shareholders and be acutely aware of the company’s performance at all times.

    Responsibilities include managing a small finance team of 4, overseeing end-to-end finance operations such as the sales ledger, credit control, purchase ledger, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, daily cash forecast and profit reporting.  Making improvements to financial procedures and controls, as well as staying abreast of current financial legislation and ensuring our compliance, have a basic understanding of Trust arrangements as well as ad-hoc projects and requests from the Directors as and when they arise.

    You will need to be 100% trustworthy and act with honesty and integrity.  You’ll fit in well if you’re organised, have experience of working to deadlines and time frames, reliable, punctual and can easily communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.

     

    Roles and responsibilities

    1

    Management of the Finance Team, including the daily huddle, attendance, performance issues, annual PDP reviews, etc.

    Production of Monthly Management Accounts and supporting analysis for Yewdale Corporation by working day 7

    3

    Manage Sales Ledger with the team to ensure all invoices raised on a timely basis

    4

    Manage and support Credit Controller to ensure all monies are collected and new accounts have correct Credit Limits

    5

    Manage and support Finance Assistant to ensure all Purchase invoices are valid and approved before payment

    6

    Prepare and execute the end of month supplier payment runs

    7

    The daily issue of Cash position and Forecast

    8

    Daily KPIs on Factory Labour and Overdues on the Sales Ledger

    9

    Liaise with Nat West over banking facility as required

    10

    Liaise with Western Union on Foreign currency payments and set up Forward Contracts where required

    11

    Process daily payments through Nat West and WU as required

    12

    Preparation of end year accounts for Accountants review and filing

    13

    Corporation Tax payments on account to be calculated and executed

    14

    Finance agreements to be sourced and administered as required by the business

    15

    Ensure all documents are forwarded to Bookkeeper for Sage processing and any queries are resolved

    16

    Company Insurance annual renewal with Brokers and timely update on changed requirements during year

    17

    Ensure all statutory payments VAT/PAYE/Deferment A/C are made on an accurate and timely basis

    18

    Assist HR Manager on payroll processing - set up payments as due and ensure control of Payroll Balance Sheet items

    Compile Annual Budget and measure against actual performance

    20

    Manage site Energy Contracts

    21

    Overhead cost control

    22

    Submission of R&D Tax relief and Patent Box tax-saving exercises

    Production of Monthly Management Accounts and supporting analysis for DotcomBlinds Ltd by working day 9

    24

    Review available Grants and submit applications

    25

    Attend Daily HOD Huddle and Weekly Leadership meeting with any relevant updates

    Ad Hoc tasks as required by the Directors
