Benefits
All YewdaleDefiant® C40 sidewinder cassette blinds feature an enclosed aluminium headbox and side channels as standard, providing protection and a sleek appearance. Designed for top or face fixing, the C40 accommodates 32, 45, 53, or 70 mm grooved aluminium barrels, depending on blind size and fabric weight. The fabric is securely locked into a groove in the barrel and finished with an aluminium bottom bar with pile seal. Operation is smooth and reliable thanks to the robust Slipstream® sidewinder mechanism, which uses a metal control chain held neatly in place by a chain tidy.
The full C40 range is available with square or rounded headboxes, offering additional protection for the fabric. Studs fitted at the edge of the fabric retain it within the side channels, and for even greater security, the optional Tracker fabric retaining system locks the fabric firmly in place.
Installation is simplified with our new goalpost technique: end plates allow the side channels to attach to the headbox and be installed as a single frame, reducing installation time. Our cassette blind training course is available to demonstrate this method. Manufactured in the UK, all C40 cassette blinds are built to last and backed by a lifetime warranty.
