Benefits
The YewdaleDefiant® C49 electric cassette blind with side channels features a 7.4 V DC battery-powered tubular motor and is available with either our standard rounded headbox or the new square headbox. Designed for top or face fixing, the C49 accommodates a 40 mm grooved aluminium barrel that houses the motor. Operation is simple and convenient via remote control, with quiet, soft start/stop motion and electronic stops.
The fabric is secured in a groove within the barrel, with studs at the edges to retain it within the side channels, and is finished with an aluminium bottom bar. Hardware is supplied in black or white as standard. Installation is straightforward using our goalpost method: the side channels connect to the headbox to form a rigid frame, which is then installed via the side channels.
