Spire Healthcare has recently invested £63 million in building a brand new flagship hospital in Manchester. Incorporating some of the most up-to-date facilities, the new Spire Manchester Hospital will be equipped to undertake an enhanced range of services, including highly complex surgery, hydrotherapy and medical conference hosting.

Workspace Design, manufacturers and installers of complete FF&E packages and have been working with Yewdale products for over 6 years.  After successfully securing the FF&E fit-out contract, YewdaleMovatrack® cubicle tracking, curved YewdaleVitesse® 6200 curtain tracks and YewdaleVitesse® 8500 electric curtain tracking products were specified. These tracks can be seen throughout the building in staff areas, wards, offices and conference rooms.

One of the biggest challenges within this project was to provide a bespoke solution with a twin tracked curtain specifically designed to fit the aesthetics and curvature of the building and rooms. Along with incredibly tight deadlines to keep to in order for the project to be completed on time. Yewdale were able to meet all of these requirements as the tracks were all made in-house within a couple of days and delivered directly to site in its own dedicated delivery vans.
