A smooth operation is guaranteed with the new and robust 45mm geared sidewinder mechanism.

The mechanism is available for the 45mm barrel which is used for windows that require an extra wide or heavy duty blind. The geared mechanism offers a 1:5 turn rotation guaranteeing a smooth operation, a superior hold with no fabric slippage and significantly reduces the strain on the roller chain to give an exceptionally longer blind lifespan.

The sidewinder is available now as standard in our YewdaleDefiant® cassette blind systems and can be purchased as an optional extra for our R20 roller blinds and installed using sturdy, stylish metal brackets.
