Ryan joined Yewdale in 2021 as a Production Operative in the rollers department. From his very first day, he showed a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in understanding how every part of the business operates. His reliability and enthusiasm made him a valuable part of the team, and he often stepped up to assist in other departments whenever needed.

Over time, Ryan didn’t just focus on his own role — he took every opportunity to learn from others and gain experience across the business. His initiative was especially clear when he began covering for Senior Operatives, demonstrating leadership qualities and a keen eye for process improvement.

That dedication paid off in June 2024, when a Senior Operative position became available. Ryan applied for the role and, through his proven commitment and broad understanding of operations, was successful in securing the promotion.

Now working as a Senior Operative in the Extrusion department, Ryan continues to thrive. He enjoys the added responsibility that comes with the role and takes pride in supporting his team while ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. His focus, teamwork, and passion for the job have made him a key part of the department’s success.

Looking to the future, Ryan is already thinking ahead. He’s open about his ambition to continue progressing within Yewdale and is eager to take on new challenges when the time is right.
