Introducing the latest updates to our disposable curtain range, designed specifically for the demands of healthcare environments. These changes reflect feedback from customers, improved functionality, and a continued commitment to infection control, while keeping things simple and streamlined for teams.

Durability Where It Counts

One of the standout upgrades is in the construction. Each curtain now features double-sewn pleats—on both the front and back—providing added strength, smoother handling, and improved durability over repeated use.

The tie-back has also been upgraded; instead of being glued, it is now securely sewn in place. This change makes it sturdier and helps extend the life of the curtain during its use cycle.

With Type C fire retardancy, our curtains meet NHS Supply Chain Specifications and offer peace of mind for safety and infection compliance.

Designed for Infection Control

While the maximum use period is recommended at six months, actual usage should align with your facility’s infection control parameters.

We’ve designed our drop length to sit just short of the 2m guideline, giving a practical clearance from the floor while still providing full coverage and patient privacy.

For specialist applications, curtains can be shortened or extended on request—though this service isn’t heavily promoted, it remains available to those who need it.

Sizes and Packaging for Practicality

To help with storage and distribution, our curtains come in compact packaging:

  • Full Length: 7.5m per curtain, boxed in 5s

  • Half Length: 3.75m per curtain, boxed in 10s

This more efficient packaging not only saves space in storerooms but also simplifies on-site logistics.

We're also updating our product codes to better reflect this change:

what was previously fitting types DPL5, DPL6, and DPL7 are now DPL3, DPL4, and DPL10. Fitting types themselves remain unchanged—only the numbers have been adjusted.

Environmentally Aware

In our Elite Delivery areas, we’re pleased to offer a curtain recycling programme—a simple way to reduce waste and keep sustainability part of the procurement process.
