Why buy this blind fabric?
The YewdaleDefiant® Medway blind fabric is made from unique cloth-fronted polyester, creating a high-quality, soft cloth weave appearance. Available in nine colours, Medway is a blackout blind fabric with reflective PVC coating on the back, which prevents light from penetrating the fabric.
The Medway fabric is flame-retardant and well-suited to commercial, education and healthcare environments. All Yewdale fabrics are designed to have high levels of stability and colour fastness.
Like all of our blind fabrics, Medway blackout blind fabric is Biosafe® accredited. Biosafe® is the international accreditation standard recognising our proven antimicrobial formula, highlighting that the fabric has passed stringent tests that ensure it effectively inhibits infection.

Alternative blind fabrics
Our range of blind fabrics provides customers with an incredible selection of colours and features specific benefits that are ideal for various shading requirements. We have blackout blind fabrics that provide complete darkness, making them well-suited to cassette blinds which are often installed in lecture theatres.
We also sell heat-reflecting blind fabrics which are great for south-facing windows. Each heat-reflecting fabric prevents the heat from entering the room and controls glare.
