Yewdale has expanded its popular Elite delivery service to cover more areas in the UK, including the Midlands, the North East and West.
The new service stretches up the North of the UK and covers the major cities, towns and surrounding areas of York, Leeds, Bradford, Hull, Manchester, Sheffield, Blackpool and Liverpool. Derby, Nottingham, Stoke, Leicester and Birmingham are also included. In the South, the service has widened to cover Portsmouth and Southampton.
The Elite service is Yewdale’s own in-house delivery service - it’s a much more personal and tailored service with all deliveries hand-delivered with a friendly smile and with the customer service you have come to expect from Yewdale. Orders are far less likely to be damaged in transit as Yewdale drivers are experienced in handling products. As a result, packaging can be kept to a minimum to cut down on waste.
With the growing demand for Yewdale’s top quality products in the north of the country, Yewdale’s keen to match customer’s expectations with an equivalent delivery service.
“Relying on third-party couriers to deliver our products to customers isn’t ideal,” said Shaun, Yewdale’s Customer Experience Lead, “often packages get damaged or even lost, and we don’t always receive the communications from the courier to update the customer on where their order is. With the Elite service, customers personally know our drivers and can be confident their delivery will arrive on time and with the excellent, friendly service we strive to provide."
Delivery times and prices
Yewdale offers pre-noon and pre-9.30am delivery Monday to Friday. Non-timed standard delivery is £10.00, for pre-noon £16.00 and pre-9.30am £28.00.
As part of the Elite delivery service, customers can now live track their orders so they can see the location of their products and receive SMS and email alerts for when their order is out for delivery. Proof of delivery with an electronic signature and photo, if a consignment is left somewhere safe, is also provided for added peace of mind.
