HBN Compliant Cubicle Tracks For Hospitals - Yewdale

The recent replacement of HTM 66 by Health Building Note (HBN) 00-10 Part E represents a significant update in guidelines for the installation and use of cubicle curtains and tracks in NHS hospitals. The new guidance covers a range of topics such as curtain selection and changes, carbon reduction considerations, cubicle track maintenance and more.

There is also a section in the new HBN 00-10 Part E which provides guidance for the safe use of curtain tracks and anti-ligature products in mental health settings. The guidance relates to and should be followed by hospitals, installers and manufacturers. These updates are critical for maintaining a safe, private, and hygienic environment for patients and staff.

We have already incorporated all essential information into the Kestrel training course, with a focus on the principal aspects of the new standard. For more information, we encourage you to watch the short video we created.
