We’re excited to announce that a new, improved fascia bracket design has replaced the earlier spring-based mechanisms used within our fascia 70 system. The revised system is focused on simplifying installation, while helping the fascia stay secure and remain durable over time.
For customers already working with Yewdale systems, rest assured that the overall fascia setup remains the same. The focus of this update is on optimising one of the components that support the fascia. The update reflects how we continue to review and improve our products as technology evolves, and as new approaches to shading and screening systems become available.
What’s changed?
The main difference is a straightforward install with fewer moving parts.
As we introduce more resilient materials, our systems are being used for even longer. This means our components must evolve to meet this extended lifespan. Fewer moving parts mean fewer potential points of wear, improving reliability over the long term.
Benefits
In practice, the difference is most noticeable during installation. The brackets are easy to position and quick to secure, helping installers complete the fitting process with little effort on site.
The bracket is built with a two-sided design. One side features a locating tongue that positions the fascia, while the other clips over to secure it. Once installed, the fascia remains firmly fixed, reducing the risk of movement over time and reducing the need for adjustments. This is useful in environments where blinds are used frequently, such as conference rooms.
Find the right components for your project
You’ll find our new brackets within our wider range of fascia components, which are designed to work seamlessly with Yewdale roller blind systems. They’re available in three colour options – black, anthracite, and white – so they can perfectly match the fascia finish used on the project.
Overall, it’s a small design change with practical advantages onsite. Installation is easier, the fascia sits more securely. It’s an important update, based on how our products develop as they’re used and tested in real installations.
Keep an eye out for more fascia 70 updates coming soon.
