Now that was a lot of fun! We’re back from Coventry after spending three brilliant days exhibiting at the BBSA 2018 show. More than 4,000 people registered for tickets to this once-every-three-years event and BBSA reported a massive 1,318 visitors on the first day (our achy-legs and croaky voices can certainly testify to that!)

We’re grateful for such a fantastic opportunity to meet so many people within the blind industry, as well as grabbing the chance to catch up with customers who go way back. We spoke with so many people but we’re sure we couldn’t quite catch everyone – let us know if we missed you but would still like us to send you some information!

Our stand received plenty of compliments, with many saying it represented Yewdale perfectly; its bold and bright colours catching the attention of all who passed (not to mention our putting green and mountain of sweets in bowls). It was our home for the three days and showcased nearly all of our products from our YewdaleDefiant® and YewdaleVitesse® range, giving people the chance to interact with our systems and see for themselves the quality.

A popular system on display was our YewdaleDefiant® C57T overhead blind, which was launched in late 2017. Spanning an enormous 2.5m x 3m across the stand, the C57T is a superb solution for shading large ceiling windows. People gathered around it for demonstrations and it was great seeing their surprise when they realised it was above their heads.

Whilst we were at the show, Yewdale had two enormous launches: a new fabric range and a roller assembly table!

The YewdaleDefiant® Eden fabric range is one of the most dynamic daylight fabrics to hit the market in years. Eden is a collection of 50 beautiful colours in a dyed, daylight fabric. Judging by the reaction from the show’s attendees, this fabric is going to quickly become a favourite.

The Yewdale Roller Blind Assembly Table is a serious space and time saver. It’s already used by Yewdale in our production process because it is quiet, ergonomically designed and has plenty of optional extras to make assembling blinds efficient and easy.

Don’t worry – there will be plenty of information on both of those launches soon!

In the coming weeks, we’ll be in touch with everyone who attended the show but sit tight, we’ve got a lot of data to process!

If you were unable to visit the show but would still like to speak with our Business Development Executives, please get in touch!
