Covid-19 Customer FAQs


Q: How long will it take to receive my made to measure order?

A: Once your order is confirmed by our ordering department you will be given a dispatch date on your order confirmation (normally confirmed same day). If your order is being delivered by our Elite delivery team or DX this will be stated on your order confirmation. You will receive a tracking link for all DX goods sent via email the night of dispatch. Typical lead time now is 5 days.


Q: Will my wholesale components order still arrive next day delivery?A: Yes you can be assured that if you order before 4PM and items are in stock and you are in the Elite delivery area then you will receive your order next day. For all other locations, delivery will be by DX which should be next day, however it may be delayed due to certain restrictions within carrier networks.

Q: Why can’t my order be delivered by your own Elite delivery team?A: We have a limited mileage delivery service and can only cover so far from our warehouse in Wickford, Essex in one day. For orders going further afield, we use DX and although we have had some issues with their service since the pandemic, deliveries are improving. If you would like to arrange a special delivery on our Elite service then please do speak to us. We will keep you up to date if we do encounter a problem via DX. 


Q: Do you have PPE in stockA: Most of our PPE products are in stock in high volume. Our sales department will advise you on your enquiry if the products you are looking for are in stock or when we expect them to arrive.


Q: Is your PPE certified?A: Yes all our PPE conforms with the health and safety standard for products sold in Europe. We also have copies of the technical specifications and the lab testing results for your information.


Q: Why are you supplying PPE?A: We have built up over the years of working within the healthcare market a list of credible partners who we know supply genuine approved PPE. Our healthcare customers were requesting support in sourcing PPE, plus we needed to equip our own workforce. We took the decision to support the healthcare industry as well as our own blind industry customers to get back on their feet by sourcing these products to help the nation beat Covid-19

Q: I would like to resell your protective products to my customers?Can you help me with any marketing material?A: Yes, all our new protective products have their own PDF sales sheet which we can supply unbranded for you to add your own logo and company details.  Please email marketing@yewdale.co.uk for more information.

Q: Are you still the same Yewdale supplying the same products as before?A: Yes! We are still the same Yewdale but we have come a long way since Covid-19 and have a wealth of extra experience which we plan to share with you in our go forward product and service offering.
